Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Ball Foundation, LLC, operating publicly as The BALL Foundation, handles information when you use Meme Ball on the web, iPhone, or Android.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, sign-in provider identifier, verification status, and the public username you choose.
• Game information: scores, match results, rankings, tournament entries, friend connections, trivia responses, and gameplay timestamps.
• Technical information: device and browser type, IP address, connection and security logs, crash details, and limited diagnostic events.
• Information you choose to provide: support messages, newsletter preference, and—on supported web surfaces—optional wallet addresses.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate players, preserve usernames and scores, operate Solo and Versus play, run leaderboards and tournaments, prevent cheating and abuse, troubleshoot failures, provide support, and improve Meme Ball.

Public game information

Your chosen username, score, rank, and certain match or tournament results can be visible to other players. We do not use your Google, Apple, or email profile name as your public player name.

Service providers

We use vendors that help operate the game, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication and game data, Microsoft PlayFab for game services and legacy leaderboard compatibility, and Apple or Google for app distribution and platform sign-in. They process data under their own terms and our instructions where applicable.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the mobile app. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect players or the service, or to service providers needed to operate Meme Ball.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and gameplay information while your account is active and as needed to secure and operate the service. You can delete your account from BALL ID → Account Settings. The active account record and associated personal data are deleted; completed competition records may be retained only in de-identified form for game integrity. Limited backup or security records may persist temporarily until normal deletion cycles complete or where law requires retention.

Your choices

You may update your username and newsletter preference in Account Settings, reset your password from the login screen, or request access, correction, or deletion by contacting contact@theballfoundation.com.

Children

Meme Ball is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us to request removal.

Security and changes

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, rate limits, and monitoring designed to protect player data. No system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy and will post the effective date here.
